Limerick GAA - it's Box Office - Always Has Been, Always Will Be

Practically anonymous. Wayne Mac cleaned him out. Donā€™t think he touched the ball in the first half bar one catch and turn before the break that led to a goal chance that was blocked.

Same story in the second half. A peripheral figure even when moved out to wing forward. Mind you he nearly won them the game after he smashed an effort against the crossbar late on. The Adare 'keeper (booked only thirty seconds earlier for time wasting on a puck out) threw the hurley in the subsequent frantic goal line scramble but the ref was lenient and merely awarded a free in (disallowing a Na P goal from the scramble) that was pointed.

Most enjoyable game. Brendan Oā€™Connor put in a Trojan effort. His own club were playing junior a few miles away at the same timeā€¦

Adareā€™s galactico policy paid dividends tonight.

Thatā€™s a big shock.

Presuming that Adare, the Well & NaP win their remaining games; all three are likely to finish on 8 points. That will go to score difference so, and NaP should still top the group.

And Pallasgreen beat Effin, which means that Effin are almost certainly going to be in a relegation play-off (presumably there is a play-off and itā€™s not just bottom side down).

Drom/Broadford beat Hospital/Herbertstown, which means that H/H are bottom going into their last match. Will very likely be winner-takes-all against St. Kieranā€™s.

And Kildimo/Pallas just about got over Claughaun/Old Christians who are in a similar situation to above, except against Knockaderry.

There was one glimpse at the end where he caught a great ball took off and rattled the bar with a top corner effort from twenty yards, but other that Wayne Mac had bate him up and down

Oh, and Blackrock have given a walkover against Bruree. Which is madness.

There was something about a funeral, and the match was supposed to be delayed until that evening but now Blackrock have said theyā€™re not fulfilling the fixture.

They could be in relegation trouble, although the next match against Mungret will be huge.

Itā€™s the most Orish thing ever to cancel games because of a funeral.

aye, but its a good Oirish thing bud

That is some pasting. Drom must have enjoyed that. They really donā€™t like the townies

Always good to see them beat

Drom have to play Newcastle yet. If Drom win and Dromin Athlaca beat Na Piarsaigh I think Drom will scrape a Quarter Final spot

That is what I was thinking. Could the townies get to the relegation final?

Dromin Athlaca now on 8 points.

Hospital need to beat Kieran to avoid a relegation final.

4th and 5th in the Group go to the County Cup Semi Finals.

NCW is a basket case . Sad .

Went out to it; it wasnā€™t that enjoyable at all.

D/A were just way better from start to finish, NCW were awful- their touch was woeful. Mike Mac was their only player who looked like scoring. Jamie Lee was only a sub for some reason.

Dave Reidy was class for Dromin/Athlacca. Breen at full-forward very good too. James Kelleher scored both goals.

The County Cup has been abolished.

Oh I didnā€™t know that, twas under the table on the Milford Gaa site.

Jamie Whelan scored a goal two minutes into injury time for Feohanagh/Castlemahon; they beat Mungret by a point.

Huge blow to Mungret, in a relegation battle now- will have to beat Blackrock.

Paul Oā€™Brien scored pretty much everything for Mungret.

A goal three minutes into stoppage time has given Feohanagh a 1-16 to 1-15 win over Mungret in the PIHC. Mungret and Effin looking nailed on for the relegation final now.

Elsewhere, in the SHC, Ballybrown are knocking the bollix off Bruff.

Ballybrown-Ahane will probably go down to scoring difference to see who makes it through, Ballybrown probably securing their spot with those goals.

And the likelihood that Kilmallock could do a number on Ahane later on.
