Tipp are rattled as fuck.

I donā€™t think Iā€™ve ever seen @Mullach_Ide on this thread before.

B team makes final of the League.

Weā€™re extremely rattled alright, so rattled we will have a thousand posts in relation to who should play Championship.

In contrast to the myth about the Kilkenny team of the noughties the Tipp B team does genuinely seem to be the second best team in the country

The Tipp A team can go fuck themselves. All the talk about it being the Tipp B team last night. When you brought on your A team what did they do???
Brendan Maher - handy chance at the end for a point, bottled it. Yellow card
Bubbles - one point scored, about 3 wides
Barrett - yellow carded, lucky not to be red carded.

How did the Limerick subs do?
Mulcahy 1-1
Nash 0-1
Pat Ryan 0-1
Reidy 0-1

You have Callanan, McGrath and Bonnar to come back in. Serious doubts about callanans fitness for the year. Will Bonnar be as effective as he always has been?
The likes of Padraig Maher (one of the best hurlers Iā€™ve ever seen), his brother, John McGrath, Breen and Forde are your main men now, they won ye the game last night so quit your poor mouth fuck acting about B team bullshit.

Limerick have the two Caseys, two serious hurlers to bring back, it was Nashes first game of the year, very little played at senior level as well next year. Dowling, Downes, Dempseys, O Donoghue from Na Piarsaigh and O Donovan from Oola to come back in to add serious strength in depth.

Tipp and Galway are the top two currently, I would have Tipp as justifiable slight favourites. But Tipp are trying to maintain their level of the last two or three years to be successful. 7 of our 8 midfielders and forwards that started last night were under 21 last year. So while Tipp are trying to maintain their level, Limerick are only going to improve. Upward trajectory for our boys.

So throw your fucking A team off the side of Slievenamon, yeā€™ll get nothing easy of us this summer or over the next few years.

Last night was disappointing, there is still a lot of fine-tuning to do but by God, these lads will fight for everything. That game looked dead going into stoppage time, but they kept going again and again. Was the same the last couple of days, and it will stand to us in Championship.

Again, the wides are a killer. It is something that we should be able to work on but itā€™s not something you can just flick a switch withā€¦ some of them are ones they should be getting, others are just bad decisions. And if players are still making bad decisions now, they mightnā€™t be able to rectify that easily. Like, I donā€™t want to keep harping on about him but Byrnesā€¦ heā€™s killing the inside line. He does so well to win the ball, heā€™s pretty good at winning his patch but you canā€™t just keep fucking the ball wide. I presume someone has been saying it to him, but he just keeps persisting. Someone needs to show him a video of all his wides in this campaign.

Tipp, even with a weakened team, were so much more clinical. We also went from scoring 4 goals against Clare to not really creating goal chances until we were desperate for them.

Kyle is still very rusty, but he did score 3 points from play and there was a bereavement in the family too. Hegarty was excellent, I thought Tom Morrissey was really good too. Malachy was quiet, really not sure whether he is a midfielder. Pity thereā€™s not one more match for WOD to get a chance.

Subs made an impact, Mulcahy looked very very sharp. But all our forwards subs got scores, there are options.

The first goal was a freak incident, Quaidā€™s puckouts were very good all night and he very rarely makes mistakes. It was a costly one but I would presume that it wonā€™t happen again, it was mad really.

Less scoreable frees conceded which is good, work rate was excellent. Still need to find a bit more composureā€¦ Tipp were just able to get their scores that little bit easier. Casey into the forwards should help a bit.

Another essay to justify a Moral Victory :rofl:

Hegarty sums up this Limerick team for me. Excellent work rate, strong, physical, serious heart and heā€™s not a bad hurler either. Has some lovely pickups and flicks.

Heā€™s a man that the younger lads look upto clearlyā€¦its the same with his club even more soā€¦tbhā€¦That sideline he scored for a fella who cant supposedly hurl was class.

Guaranteed starter in May. Heā€™ll also be playing club football this week.

Itā€™s only the league pal, wouldnā€™t get too worked up about it. Weā€™re still trying things out.

Limerick will beat Tipp in Championship.

Thatā€™s the word alright, one of the most natural hurlers Iā€™ve seen, a terribly nice fella as well

Nicer you wouldnt meet. A lovely fella.

The great news is that Malachy as a midfielder has been nipped in the bud earlyā€¦ Wing back or up in the corner terrorizing the fuck out of a back.

Its an issue alright, whoā€™s going to go in there is the question?

Itā€™s wide open for DOD or WOD.

I still think Browne can offer something; if we want to inject a physical presence beside Lynch, then WOD is the obvious choice. Itā€™s a pity he wasnā€™t available in the league though, as itā€™s a big stepup.

DOD would have been a player Iā€™d have looked at, but Kiely doesnā€™t seem to agree.
