LIT have some big names but they also have some relatively average hurlers especially in the backs.

They’ve won Munsters, played in AI finals and SFs, won multiple u-21 AI titles.

It’s the hilarity that Limerick people think they are one of the big hurling teams that I enjoy. Look ever one knows limerick are absolutely shit at football it’s more about knowing ur place. A 4th tier football team and a 2nd tier hurling hurling county. If you’re counting underage All-Irelands it says it all. Similar to Liverpool soccer fans.

Bad performance in Newcastlewest, relegation is likely
Just back from NCW.
The weather was splendid, the football (from us) putrid.
Grabbed a few late consolation scores but Clare were miles better in every facet of the game. Sean McSweeney came on and kicked a couple of nice points but very slim pickings otherwise.
We’re down now. Whatever the handicap is next week back Kildare to beat it.
The hurling squad was cut again by all accounts in the past week or so? 33 including the na piarsigh lot. Anybody have the list?
