Limerick GAA, Still Getting Knocked Down

You just have to meet cunts like that head on and make sure they know you won’t back down no matter what, they’re cowards at the back of it,I was involved with loads of knackers back in the day with the boxing and that’s the only way you’ll get their respect

Like a lot of the traveller gangs the newer generation (late 20/30’s) are a different animal to what went before them. See it locally here. The fathers of the current lot would have been dodgy but no where the level their sons are at. Dangerous cunts.

I don’t have any dealings with the cunts pal, and I’m buying a house currently miles away from them. Your dead right though and if I was ever burgled in the family home while I was in the house I wouldn’t think twice.

As Limerick goes pal in general I’d disagree with you, we had a number of absolute lunatics running riot in our estates in the early 00’s, and the relatives of same that are out and about now aren’t a patch on them thank god.

Any Hurling on tomorrow?

He’d probably be a better hurler than a Carey or a Dundon anyway. …

Bruree are playing in dintermediate

Most of the Poles, Lithuanians went home when the recession came is my impression? Their offspring would have been alright long term sport wise had they stuck around. The only immigrants we get now are Africans and Afghans/Pakhi’s. With the African fellas obviously you’d get a few serious natural athletes out of them if they’re half bothered but those Middle Easterns forget about it, they have no sport in them. With the Africans i’d say not many will slip through the net to make it good at GAA. So in short i don’t see immigrants having any significant impact in Limerick over the next 20 years.

Rag heads have no intrest in sport

Have you ever paid for diesel in a Topaz station or shopped in Aldi?

How many Aldi’s or Topaz stations are in Limerick? There are few enough Polish/Lithuanians left in Limerick compared to the numbers we had in the mid 00’s.

There are just as many, where are you living?

And they are the finest of people. They have the same values as ourselves. They are family driven, don’t bother people etc,

Coach a polish lad at football. He isn’t much good, but the nicest young fella you could meet.
Have one lad who is half polish/half Irish, a good mix, he is big and strong and a nice footballer too.

No way are there as many as before, come on man. Where are you yourself? I’m out in the sticks to be fair but still in town enough and i don’t see or encounter them anywhere.

There are, but I don’t even look at them as being from eastern europe anymore, I’m living in the City Centre moving to suburbia shortly but 80% of the apartments in my complex are non Irish and you wouldn’t have a problem with any of them.

There kids can speak 3 languages fluently and are mixing well with Irish kids from what I can see, they are a great addition to this country.

They are more less the same as ourselves.

Have to agree with you there TMI, these lads are hard working and don’t let their kids run amok and by and large very pleasant and honourable peole to deal with. pity we couldn’t trade them in for a few rathkeelers.

You’re dead right Brimmer, they want to work and contribute to our country which for some of our own is alien to what Pavee point/left wingers stand for.

As travelling people go, the Rathkealers are about the best of them.
