Surely not Donie
Going on last yearâs form he would be a bigger loss than shaughsâŚI heard last week that Moran and Shaughs were gone but thought twas bullshit but it looks like there might be some truth in it
Dropped or left?
I wouldnât lose sleep over losing any of those at the moment.
Niall Moran - Too fancy.
Shaughs - Needs a break from it, exhausted.
Lucey - Go and play football youâre better at it.
Donie - Finished.
Sheahan - Too small.

could be a bit of both DunphâŚ
Lucey and Moran would be losses all the sameâŚ

If we know anything about Limerick hurlin at this stage itâs that the strength in depth is fuckin serious. I wouldnât be worried either.
We are on the brink of a breakthrough. I can feel it.
SLR should have held off on the book til next year, he would have another couple of chapters
That was Volume One Iâd say. Itâll be like the Encycleopedia Britannica by the time heâs finished.
Bring back Tom Ryan!!
I had heard that Shox wasnât getting on with Justin last year.
Thought Lucey was injured? Not supposed to be back until the spring at the earliest. Would be surprised if Niall Moran was allowed to leave, heâs one of the few decent forwards we have. Shaughs could do with a year out, looked completely out of sorts this year. Donie and Sheehan would be no great losses. Neither are good enough for inter-county hurling.
Any word on whether Foley is continuing? Would be captain next year if he stays on. Personally I would let him go if possible, not the best in the dressing room by all accounts.
I hadnât heard this at all and if through itâs pretty disappointing although on current form Niall Moran is the only one of them weâd really miss. I had said it after the Tipp game that Shaughs looked like a man who badly needed a break from hurling so if it is true then a year out will do him no harm at all provided he comes back from it. Donnacha Sheehan never really cut the mustard at intercounty level and was given plenty of chances under different managers.
Lucey suffered a serious injury a few months ago and it looks doubtful if heâll even be playing football next year. Basically his entire hamstring came away from his arse and is looking at serious recovery time.
The problem is where to find the players to come in and replace these.

Its strorm in a tea cup this
Shaughs is taking a year out
Lucey is wanked
Donnacha Sheehan is only a fringe player
Niall Moran is too fucking scared for intercounty hurling
Donie Ryan will be the only one missed
Lucey will be back in late April if he can regain fitness and will be playing both codes again(Limerick should get to the Munster final next year after one home game)Moran would be A big loss,Shaughs needs the year off,Sheehan is not an Inter-county player,Donie is too old. This leaves us without our two free-takers,me thinks Justin is going to throw the young prodigy from Adare straight into the frat next year!?
Yer next breakthrough will be as Christy Ring Champions.
Young Hannon???..
I would be completely against it,but it wouldnât be the first time A young player with great potential was called up very young,Hickey being the last in recent times.
I sincerely hope he isnât called up at this early stage in his career. Others they could consider:
Sean Tobin - Murroe/Boher
OâConnell - Adare
Sexton - Adare
OâBrien - Kilmallock
Steven Cahill - Croom
But these are all forwardsâŚ

I dunno what hes like now but this lad used to be always crying in underage matches. Not talking U-10âs either. Would be far too windy for inter county
Heâs been very useful any time iâve seen him play for Adare the last 2-3 years. Has a bit of pace, good tocuhes and knowâs how to score. Heâs not small either.
