Small, tigerish, quick corner back from Ballysteen - must be something in the water down there… 
He was good, stopped one certain goal in the second half through good reading of the play. Sean Murphy, NCW, was probably our best performer. Luke O’Connell and Mark Connolly (first half) had their moments too. Mikey Morrissey was sick all week with flu apparently and didn’t last until half time.
The Cork no.11 Gary Murphy was excellent.
Playing Waterford next week in the back door, someone said it was on in Newcastlewest but I can’t confirm not deny it.
Nothings been won or lost yet pal. Munster championship in Thurles would get a limerick Hurler with a broken neck out of a wheelchair. We will be fine. I’ve every faith in this group of players.

It’s not that surprising, he’s a fine hurler, for ball-winning ability alone, he’d be a big asset for most teams.
Why Surprised? He was a fine schools hurler with Castletroy. Unfortunately he is with a club that appears to be abandoning hurling for the inferior pigs bladder despite the best efforts of a few.
He is decent not great but very few senior players dual now especially when he is the one great hope for the senior footballers.
I saw him play centre forward for Pats v Kildimo last Saturday. He was out played by the Limerick minor Cian Hayes who was centre back.
