The stories coming out of Limerick are comical if it wasn’t so sad. Never ceases to amaze how they let petty squabbles and local politics over shadow what is a team capable of contesting (and obviously losing) an All Ireland.

Some of the comments from the Wexford crowd are equally funny, they reckon they will probably be contesting the AI final based on the last two games. They seem to forget the 20+ previous games that they were beaten.

As a Limerick supporter I had no real issues with losing to Cork, the better team won and Cork supporters as always were good humoured about the whole thing. however losing to these Spud munching muck savages will be almost as bitter as losing to Tipp if the comments on here reflect the overall attitude of their supporters.
