You said the same before the Cork game.
This is a 50/50 match. I donât think tiredness will be a factor for Wexford. Tiredness only affects losing teams.
Aye. Or teamâs that arenât playing well. Wexford are flying, and all the matches in a row will help in terms of touch and match fitness. If they get past Limerick, they could do anything. Would love to see them against KK in an AI semi.
Wexford are now in a similar place to Dublin before the Leinster final last year and are a very dangerous opponent for Limerick. I think Wexford could well do them.
Exactly, and further proof of Davyâs genius when he managed to get the likes of @turfcutter and @BeTimberin to stop giving away secrets on the internet before Clare games last year.
Obviously the players you are talking about are from a particular club in south Limerick. You first stated âAll is not wellâ secondly we may be short a player or two and third you went and named the positions so lets just say it, three lads from a south club have an issue. Personally i think it is complete bollix and if not why do you feel the fooking need to throw it out there like that. Our own worst enemies for a long time.
On the issue of the two Lynchâs, both are superb hurlers and we probably wonât win an AI until both of those lads and maybe Barry Nash and Richie English et al are involved. Cian could only play in the corner for me, would find it very difficult in a half forward line to win ball his best asset, the physical demands are different and he struggled at times in the U21 even though he played very well. Ronan could probably play wing forward, why risk it though. Impact subs maybe but that would be all. The batch of minors we have are the best we have produced, leave them hurl at minor and donât rush things.
Iâm actually surprised at the hype Wexford are generating outside of the county. As great and all as it is, there are still some amount of deficiencies in the team. Its a work in progress, and they are improving and finally Dunne is working to a decent tactic template, but there are still some basic errors occurring and woeful shooting. Hopefully that will come good, and Iâd prefer to be in this position than the usual being hammered out the gate without so much as breaking sweat. If Rossiter is out, heâll be a big loss. Heâd be the more mobile of the full back line, and if it is Deveroux into replace him, I could see him being roasted by Mulcahy.
Despite all that though, we are going to beat these finger breaking whinging cunts. Dowling is an over rated useless cunt and McDonald is the best full forward to play the game since Nickey Rackard. Probably better. And weâll win the All Ireland too.
John Mullane reckons Limerick could shade it and refers to Wexfordâs poor record in Thurles.
I think that will seep into the Limerick playersâ consciousness and theyâll get too cocky.
Combine that with some Limerick INTERNETTERS discussing how theyâll match up with Killenny in a semi-final clash and the warning signs should be going off in Limerick.
Wexford will be on a roll, meanwhile Limerick are coming off the back of a good run out against Cork where they scored 24 points and missed a lot more. There will only be a puck of a ball between these two sides and you can be sure every break will be keenly contested. Momentum is with Wexford and they have the players to go and win it, but Limerick have that bit more experience and muscle which could be enough to see them over the line.

Wexford seem to have the explosiveness up top that we are missing thus farâŠDownes in at 14 could be the answer⊠but it most certainly is a 50/50 game and the second game will be a total anti-climax after this ferocious battle.
Lack of matches will again count against Limerick. Limerick have played 5 championship matches since June 9th last year. Wexford have played the same amount of games in the last two months. If Limerick start with the same back 6 as against Cork I have a feeling we will be run ragged. At least one of GOM, POB or Condon should probably get the chop (I would go with GOM), youâre looking at King, Tom Ryan or Dempsey as the frontrunners to come in, all would be of somewhat unknown quality at this level but King and Ryan in particular would bring pace. Hickey takes up McGovern, I would imagine McCarthy would go on McDonald but you would need a plan B on this one as McDonald has a height and pace advantage on Richie and is on fire at the moment. Both midfields are having good years and will do some amount of hurling; if Breen is having success on puck-outs youâd imagine Chin will go back on him, again Plan B needed. In our forwards, we need goals, simple as, and unless there is more movement made by the front 6 off the ball than against Cork we will struggle. I would start Downes and Mulcahy inside, if Rossiter is out I would imagine we will find more space to deliver into and these guys would thrive on it.
50/50 game and all the pressure is on Limerick. You can put the house on Wexfordâs wide count miraculously evaporating against us too.
I just watched the Sunday game there, mate- The quality of ball these boys are getting into them is something else- If our forwards were getting half as good delivery into them we would be unstoppable. Declan Hannon floating around the pitch will not cut the mustard here⊠Whatâs the story with Rossiter?
I only see Joe on Tuesdays and Thursdays most weeks⊠He sent me a pm on facebook last night telling me how Wexford were gonna murder us. I expect him to be in Wexford colours tomorrow⊠The mans hatred of Limerick hurling is up there with @dodgy-keeperâs hate of Munster rugby.
