Another hilarious goal in the 1985 European Cup Final. The game is 0-0, some chap in midfield for Juve boots a big long straight ball up the middle which completely dumbfounds the Liverpool defenders and to top it all off Juve get a penalty for a foul roughly 5 yards outside the box

The defending on show last night was absolutely embarrassing.
Napoli never won Seria A before Diego. Napoli won 2 with Diego. Napoli have won none since. Napoli have won one European trophy. Yes Diego was on that team too.
That was poor defending for this era but it wouldn’t have even been noticed back then with the amount of shit defending that was going on around it. The 1989 European Cup Final looked like Steaua had won a raffle to get to the final. Milan absolutely made bits of them
