Liverpool 2008/09

Anyone got a link to the game tonight?

Massive rotation for this.

Looks like this:

Reina,
Arbeloa, Carragher, Hyppia, Auerlio
Kuyt, Lucas, Alonso, Pennant
Gerrard,
Babel

Or maybe Pennant will go right, Babel left and Kuyt down the middle

Peno against that muppet Baba Papa Diouf for hand ball converted by Gerrard in the 76th seals the result.
Diouf’s only ever contribution to the club but at least a timely one. “Phew”.

I think you’re thinking of a different Diouf boxty

Was it El Hadji Diouf then that was at Liverpool? I remember some useless Diouf geezer there a few years ago.

El Hadji Diouf was with Liverpool alright.

That was Papa Bouba Diop.

Both are Senegalese.

But I agree - Phew!

I think you’re thinking of a different Diouf boxty

Youre’ spot on Fran. Had a look at El Hadji Diouf’s wiki page which made confirmed my opinion of a useless Diouf.
His record at Liverpool makes frightful reading.

Papa Bouba DIOP.

That’s the one.

Papa Bouba DIOP.

Apologies for that Bandage - not a common family name in these parts.

Glad to see liverpool top, not that i support em im a man u fan, cos in a few months time they’l prob have dropped down the table.

i see another one of liverpools senegalese legends Salif Diao was pulling the strings in the midddle of the park for stoke last night…

Just highlighted the most important word in your sentence, you’re not even so sure yourself.

ok then, they WILL have dropped down the table. Liverpool DEFO wont win the league.

Tiger I’m pretty sure you’re a girl. In which case your opinions on football are null and void.

Ah that was just shite. Dominating for 70 odd minutes and then a freak og. Momentum was all with them and then the winner.

Shite.

All is well in the world again…
Ye had a barrel of luck to beat Wigan, Man City and Middlesboro this season. It’s bound to go against you sometimes.
The key for me is that when Liverpool dominate, they seem quite content to stay at 1-0. Chelsea and Man U will always push for more goals. Basically, Benitez remains a bit negative for me.
Having said that ye’ll be a damn sight closer this year than the last few. Riera looks good. Kuyt has scored more than he previously has in his entire career surely. Keane will get his shit together a bit, and Torres might nick the odd one.

hey clarkey cat…what was the score yesterday??

If you let me know what game you’re talking about I’ll do some research and get back to you.

P.S. Are you a girl?

P.P.S. What are you wearing?

Sublime finish by the great Robbie Keane there.
