Paddy Power are offering 10-1 on Liverpool to win the league +9 ! Thats surely worth a flutterā¦
I have found 40 in one of my online accounts, do you think I should stick it on Liverpool tonight and 1/2 for a quick return?
Hope you didnāt??
Very lucky to escape goaless last night though the penalty save was justice done as it was never a peno. The team looked very rusty and lacked any creativity in the final third, Keane was very poor. Lack of width once again totally evident.
It was great to see some youngsters get a chance but doubt they will feature much once the olympic trio return.
Typical Liverpool away night in Europe but Liege are very capable of nicking an away goal.

Looked one-paced and distinctly average when on loan for Manchester City a couple of years back. But has been making and scoring plenty of goals for Espanyol since then so it appears heās improved. Heās not a flier though and I think Liverpool could do with an injection of pace down the flanks rather than someone whoās tidy and will keep the shape of the team.
On RTE 2 tonight also
Iām shitting it about tonight. Traditionally Liverpool have been very poor in these qualifying rounds: losing at home to Graz the year we won it, needing a last minute winner v Haifa 2 years ago, then being lucky the return leg was moved to Kiev.
Liege are the best team we have faced yet at this stage, and the lack of an away goal makes this very awkward. I have visions of us scoring early then gradually sitting back and inviting the ultimate kick in the balls. Hopefully we tear into them from the start and take a 2-0 lead into half time or something, otherwise it will be very edgy.
