I think Christian Purslow might have been at a recent family event I attended but I will need to clarify. Uncle Fergusy is a high roller.
Liverpool snap up Irish football’s top starlet

Liverpool have beaten Europe’s top clubs to land Ireland’s most highly-regarded teenager.
Alex O’Hanlon, 15, is a product of the St Kevins Boys Club in Dublin, which produced Arsenal legend Liam Brady and Fulham and Ireland winger Damien Duff.
O’Hanlon, a midfielder, has spent time with Real Madrid and Chelsea and was courted by Manchester United and Arsenal, but Liverpool won the race for O’Hanlon after boss Kenny Dalglish met him and his parents.
The Ireland youth international’s arrival confirms the club’s intention to pursue top young talent.
Liverpool ben linked with Eden Hazard - 20 year Belgian that plays for Lille in France. New Ronaldo by all accounts.
Dalglish was highly influential in getting Robbie Fowler to sign as a nipper. Must have a charm about him.
Definitely going to win the league next year which will be very enjoyable.
 Highly influential? Wasn’t Robbie a boyhood Pool fan? Surely didnt take that much persuasion?
No. He was Everton.
Really, wasn’t aware of that. Knew Stevie was pictured in an Everton shirt as a kid alright, but Fowler always gave off impression of being a red. Apologies.
McManaman and Carrgher were Everton fans as well.
Huh?
You heard me!!
Re MBB’s posts on this thread today:
Wenger is such a whiny little bitch. He wants Andy Carroll to go to the tournament just because Wilshere is going. How will that save Wilshere from injury? It won’t.
Pearce will be concerned to leave Carroll behind," Wenger said, "and I don’t think he will do it because that is opening the doors for any other complaints behind that. Players react like: ‘If he doesn’t go, why do I go?’
Eh, Wilshere has stated his desire to play, Arsene.
Wenger is one whiny bitch alright.
The same thing with the game against Liverpool in the Emirates. His whole demeanour after the match was how they were robbed. Nothing about how they fail to close the match out for 2 minutes. I don’t think he is the type of manager that says one thing to the press while he goes into the dressing room and lambasts the players (Eboue) for not being able to see a match out for 2 minutes.
How many managers has he refused to shake hands with now? Dalglish (because of a last minute penalty), Hughes, Brown, Pardew?
Farmer in disliking Wenger shocker
Wenger must be due to get the road soon
According to reports in Correio da Manha, Liverpool have agreed a fee of £25m for Benfica left back Fabio Coentrao.
Kenny Dalglish is set to move for the 23-year old full back who has been linked with a string of high profile clubs across Europe, including Premiership rivals Chelsea and Man City.
Liverpool has made a left back their top priority in the summer and have been linked with Everton’s Leighton Baines, Arsenal’s Gael Clichy and Newcastle’s Jose Enrique.
