Talks of another prem club being interested, but nothing concrete yet. Mignolet having a medical mid week.
The Irish Independent were reporting yesterday (robbed from somewhere obviously) that a deal is still a long way off.
Mignolet has passed his medical. That’s 3 in and it’s not even July.
Think about who is in though. Two unknown Spaniards, a defender with question marks over him.
I’m happy with Mignolet though. He’s a good keeper. If we get the Armenian lad I would be delighted. Need another defender as well. And another striker if Suarez goes.

In B-Rod we trust!
But yeah, we need a decent CB and attacker in and then I think it will have been a good window.
Mignolet is a super signing…one of the best shot stoppers in the prem…the other two are un knows really, only time will tell
Is Reina being sold? How much will he go for? Or is he out of contract?
I’d say they would be happy to sell. On big wages and seems to have lost his way over the past few seasons.
Big question marks over Mignolet’s distribution tho. With Sunderland he only had to lump it forward, but Brendan wants more than that from his keeper.
Reina has a year left and if he doesn’t go now it will be this year, presumably to replace Valdes who only has a year left also.
Does Reina not have 3 years left?
I thought it was only a year? I’ll have to scurry off and double check. But now that I think about it there was a contract signed not so long ago…
Oh dear, how embarrassing. He has indeed 3 years left. That’s some major egg on my face
I don’t know where I got the year from, perhaps it was the Valdes situation, but It’s a little crazy spending 10m on a keeper if he’s to sit on the bench alright.
Thanks for steering me right, farmerinthecity.

No worries mate. If you need steering in any other threads, such as Smashing Tunes or Leitrim GAA for instance, give me a shout.

Seems a bit cheeky from Dortmund to be bidding for a Liverpool target. Liverpool should have them reported.

Bit of a story behind this apparently. The player is owned by two separate parties, and another club have agreed with them for less than the asking price and Shaktar are fuming and trying to get the price up.
That other club would hardly be Liverpool. would it?
They are English based. That’s all I know.
Fuck, that rules us out anyway as we’re Scouse.
