A great link player but hard to believe he’s only managed 8 goals in a team who’ve won 29 out of 33. Milan Baros/Peter Crouch/Djibril Cisse had more prolific seasons than that.
They don’t even bother marking him anymore. They double up on Salah.
No surprise that we were dogshit up in the transition from midfield to attack without Firmino. Then were much sharper when he came on.

Exactly. Easy to say anyone can utilize the movement that he does but then why don’t we ever see anyone else do it. He is one of the most intelligent players the club has ever had and is the main reason Mane and Salah are the goalscorers they are. Both of them did fuck all until the 70th minute
I saw a stat flash up during the match where it said he had over 50,000 shots at Anfield this season and no goals. He did have an impact when he came on in the David Fairclough role. No goals or assists but he occupied space brilliantly for Mane’s goal.
