Saka was incredibly fortunate not to see the line. 3 card worthy attempts at tackles and only one yellow.

Feels like 2 points dropped again but if you’d said at the start of the season that Liverpool would be in a league cup semi-final, Europa knockouts and a point off the top of the Premier League then we’d have taken it for a team in its infancy. The draws have been frustrating. Left victories behind against Man Utd, Luton, Brighton and this evening.

Arsenal were awarded a very dubious late penalty for a “foul” by Thiago in the 3-2 last season. Thiago will be like a new signing in January when he’s back from injury.

Amusing enough Liverpool watered the pitch to slow down arsenals passing game and help with their long ball tactics.

Now it looks like they’ve two season ending injuries.
