Liverpool Football Club 2025/26

The assistant manager was caught on social media spitting at the crowd…

Anyway- here’s the Liverpool fan giving his 3 bob on events.

Simeone has to apologise.

They banned him for 3 years. He served his time. That Gerrard farewell match is 10.5 years ago now.

Would you reckon he’s a bad un chief?

Defending heysel
Defending suarez the racist
Defending a scumbag that abuses differently abled people

What makes it worse is you are just a cholesterol brother irish fan and not even a proper fan

He’s certainly a spiky character but you’d hope he’s not like that away from the pitch. The fact that he’s managed to stay in the Atleti job for over a decade would suggest that he has a softer side away from the bravado for the cameras.

Good one sport

He’s a knacker.

You just have to look at his carry on around the Beckhan thing that time.

A lot of lads getting wound up about @Ralphie firing a few insults at Simeone at Anfield last night. A few lads need to calm down

I don’t particularly care for his brand of (admittedly very effective) football (cc Footix of the day) but the game would be a poorer place without him. A proper character who gets the best out of his players.

Maybe 10 years ago you could say he did but he hasn’t got the best out of his players in a long time.

They lost on penalties to Real Madrid in the quarter-finals of the Champions League last season and finished 3rd in the league on 76 points from a maximum 114, 12 points behind winners Barcelona on 88.

They got 76 points in 2023/24 and reached the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

They 77 points in the league 2022/23.

I don’t think you can say Atletico Madrid don’t have a ā€œlevelā€ that they aren’t playing to. They’re pretty much metronomic in terms of finding a level.

Heartbeat is a tremendous programme and is on Saorview every night for those not wanting to partake in midweek Footixing.

I see Simeone apologised for over reacting

He has spent 400m over the last three windows. I’d say they expect him to push on a bit

Some posters here could learn from him

They bought Joao Felix for 105m, not sure how much Simeone had to do with that but that’s as bad of a signing as you’d get.

The wet knicker brigade were banging the keyboard all day but have gone to ground now

Same fellas telling us Paedo Coote was a great lad

Getting Gravenberch for €30 million was some bit of business. A huge mistake by Bayern.
