Heās certainly a spiky character but youād hope heās not like that away from the pitch. The fact that heās managed to stay in the Atleti job for over a decade would suggest that he has a softer side away from the bravado for the cameras.

I donāt particularly care for his brand of (admittedly very effective) football (cc Footix of the day) but the game would be a poorer place without him. A proper character who gets the best out of his players.

Maybe 10 years ago you could say he did but he hasnāt got the best out of his players in a long time.
