Another defeat for Shamrock Rovers and Bohs tonight. League is in a state of flux when you see Waterford and 2007 champions Drogheda leading the table.

Thought the red card for the young centre back was harsh overall. The second yellow was him standing his ground.
The blues were on top at that stage but the red certainly helped them.

Derry offered nothing after that, had not offered much before it.

It wouldnât occur to me to watch English football these days other than penalty shoot outs. But Iâve watched a fair bit of centenary quaich football in recent days from the likes of Drumcondra, Paisley, Edinburgh & Waterford.

Solid point for GUFC. Dufferâs troops had a lot more about them tonight in Deacy Park than theyâve shown prior and weâre probably lucky enough to have only conceded the one. Brendan Clarke has been an absolutely incredible signing and is still making top drawer saves at 68 years of age.
I think Esua might be the most underrated player in the league right now.

Would the âultraâ thing be an issue in LOI. As in lads wanting to have a scrap outside the ground etc, or only a small minority of the Dublin clubs mainly?

Iâve seen maybe 3 tame enough scraps in my 20+ years of going to GUFC and even those were broken up fairly quickly by both sets of supporters. LOI is an extremely family-friendly league.

Derry High profile signings and manager not working out as of yet. Theyâll have to turn it around quickly with a fairly demanding fans. Similar to rovers and bohs
