I’d disagree on that. Thought Galway had a lot more chances but just couldn’t make the Shels keeper work to the same extent ye did for Cunha when ye were in our box.
Shels fans are good craic in fairness. Gave Ed McCarthy some well earned abuse. I also happened to bump into the same Shels lad I was having pints with after the waterlogged postponement.

Inconclusive I think
The player in question was very good for Waterford, despite wearing a headband
It’s a grand evening out, finished work 4pm, pal collected me 4.30, parked in the Black Box and had 3 handy pints outside Tigin and walked back up to the game. We do Treaty 3/4 times a season, it’s only in the road. Cobh and Athlone ticked off last season, did Tallaght for Rovers European game v Maltese last December, a memorable occasion which unfortunately won’t be available to us this year

Hughes’ is a great spot down that side too. McGinns is good for the pre-match and there’s rarely any issues with away fans pinting in there (bar the Shligo cunts). Hope ye steered well clear of Barr An Chaladh down that direction.
