Hickey to Bohs is official. That’s a proper gut punch for 2026.

Pity about bucks not coming to us

Ya that was a strange one. I was told months ago that it was a done deal, insofar as an agreement can be without a signed contract. I know Cobh seemingly have a bit more in the coffers than ye at the moment though so it might be better wages.

Supposed to be heading our way until v recently
He’s right to head to Cobh
We’re a complete shit show
Ruled by an autocratic egotistical dictator

Bobby Burns to Dundalk.

Starting to all come out now that most lads were willing to stay on if Caulfield stood down but not a hope of that. We’ll like need to sign north of 15 new players.

Jaysus. Will yous field a team next season at this rate? Dundalk will be delighted

We’re even more fucked than I thought. We’ll do down and stay down for a while I’d say unfortunately.

Not good sounding at all. Is there a serious cutback going on or any mention of a return to part time? Lost Ollie and now seem to be giving up, not what he’d have stood for

There was some talk that lads were getting better pay and accommodation from the Dublin clubs & Derry but I think it’s more specifically focused on Caulfield. His Plan A failed badly last year and he changed it up with 3 games left. He’d lost the dressing room by about August though. Caulfield is too cozy with the Comers and the Board to be sacked.

I’m refusing to get overly optimistic about this

i missed this at the time, explains their good transfer windows
