Top player, great guy.[/quote]

His reaction at the end where he seems to relish being on his own gets me every time.

Cassano and Suarez have to be the two greatest characters to grace the game since Maradona.

Legend, hero, icon.

A beautiful man.

Absolutely stunning today.

Luis has such a beautiful smile. A beautiful footballer and a beautiful man.

We’re going to win the league.

I see Patrice Evra is getting slaughtered by the French media in the aftermath of their defeat to Ukraine.

Luis Suarez is a national hero.

Patrice Evra is a national disgrace.

If only Liverpool could play Norwich every week
Suarez

The greatest player in the world, without a doubt. :pint:

Nobody else can touch him.

The first Liverpool player ever to score three league hat-tricks against the same club.

This is what it must have been like in Naples when Diego played.

My brother, also a Liverpool fan, texted me earlier.

‘Suarez with a lob from 40 yards. Yeah. Whatever’.

I tend to agree with that.

Can’t actually decide between the first and third, just ridiculously good.

I’ve been crying here for the last half hour. Luis is the most brilliantly beautiful footballer alive. He encapsulates Greek beauty in a way I never thought I’d see… What a man.

Again!!!

How about the fourth?!

A stupendous free kick.

And the second was a very smart finish too.

For people who lived 200 miles away in a different country?

If Liverpool don’t get champions league I will never watch them again if they don’t let him go… Genius.

Guardian describe it as a preposterous performance

What an ovation for the world’s greatest player as he goes off.

Outstanding.

That thought crossed my mind where one player can transcend a sport almost. Mercurial, genius… you’d run out of superlatives to describe him. Magic. He deserves every accolade he gets and if he doesn’t get to play champions league football it would be a shame. I hope he doesn’t end up at Madrid or somewhere where he will be just another galactico. He deserves the stage to himself.
