Uruguay have produced some hard, tough footballers in their illustrious history but I believe Suarez may even be the toughest. Paolo Montero was one tough cookie but I think Luis surpasses him, he has such a strong temperament - he hasn’t been sent off in England yet and despite the physical abuse and provocation he gets he manages to keep his cool and pick his moments to exact his revenge.

He’s a superb footballer, probably 3rd best on the planet at the moment but praising him for keeping his cool is a bit dumb considering he has been suspended for nearly 20 games in his short spell in England.

+1. The flick for the goal, the touch to Coutinho for the great chance at 1-1 when Hart saved, when he mugged Kompany off over on the left in the second half and gave Sterling the open goal. I could go on and on. Suarez and Henderson were absolutely magnificent last night. Was it Suarez or Coutinho who played the through ball to Sterling for the “horrendous” offside call in the first half?
