What are you on about? A different lad admitted to the first murder and Avery was cleared by DNA and the fella who admitted he did it was a DNA match. Avery had something like 16 eye witnesses who put him somewhere else at the time of the murder. The other guy is also a convicted sex offender. The only thing they had on him was the victim picked him out of a line up after being heavily coached.
There is no doubt whatsoever that he was innocent of the first murder. In fact they were so wrong and it was such a miscarriage of justice that they brought in a whole new raft of laws called the Avery Bill to prevent anything like it ever happening again. Averys name was removed when the second murder happened.
Second murder who knows, but he definitely didn’t do the first one and “the general consensus” is absolutely not that he did the first one you mad man
I’d go for he did it, but they tried to frame him to make sure he went down.
