This thread was set up to highlight crowd violence in the GGA & separately, how in the space of a year, the GGA saw how the wind was blowing re Irish independence & changed their position to be pro freedom

There is a line running from Heuston under the Phoenix Park which isnât used. A lot of Dublin GAA fans were well aware of this mysterious line years ago because after a game down in (I think) Portlaoise, there was murder in the town and more madness on the train back home. The train never stopped at Heuston but veered off and went under the Park and into Connolly where another load of Boys in Blue from Store Street were waiting for them.
I think CIE done the track up a few years back and may have used it on a special occasion with plans for some link but I donât know what happened or if there is plans.
Actually, I know a man who might know about travel and could answer @Little_Lord_Fauntleroy
Yea, years ago the Limerick train extended to Connolly. Never knew that was the route it must have taken.
Iâm surprised itâs not utilised more.
I saw a fella get escorted out of the Hill by gardai again yesterday. Do these fellas ever appear before the court or are they just taken to the cells for a few hours to sober up? Making an example of 1 or 2 wouldnât do any harm at all.
There was a fire in the hill in the first half anyonenknow what happened?
Sad to report another outbreak of violence on the hill today
Is the poor kilkenny woman ok after the punch from the clare fan
Fruit punch with a very high alcohol concentration?

The only people that can be trusted on the hill are the Dubs
They should leave the hill closed if Dublin isnât playing.
There was plenty of room in the stands for the Culchies there over the weekend.
Culchies treating the hill like the local chipper on a Friday or Saturday night.
Itâll be Culchies screaming at Congress to have it seated cos they canât behave themselves.
Then theyâll say the Dubs are the only ones that want it staying as a terrace.
Exactly like that, except going through the upper section of the lower tier. The train could even stop Lansdowne Road style for a look at the match.
Itâs time to kick the culchie bogmonsters off the Hill for good.
That Barry Jones is an awful dose. Probably never happened
Be interested to see the time itâs raining in the afternoon stats.
