A flag of convenience for the racist bastards. Did they do that for Torres? For Suarez?
They did that hopeless short corner routine about 5 times in a row in the second half that all ended with De Bruyne giving the ball away.
He’s not taking this result well at all.
Yes and yes.
No they didn’t and you know it. It’s yet another uncomfortable truth to wrestle with for the Irish Liverpool fan.
They had a racist banner for Origi and their constant abuse of Raheem Sterling yesterday left a very sour taste in the mouth. @anon61878697 and the likes defending it here has really devalued their achievements
Torres got a torrid time when he returned to Anfield you fuck tard … Suarez had plenty of boos last year but his departure wasnt on the worst of terms …
A cock sucker moaning about a bad taste in his mouth - get up that yard
I’m quite disappointed that @anon61878697 has chosen to dig in here. What happened yesterday was a disgrace and to see somebody I once respected blindly defending racist chanting is appalling.
I see you’ve conveniently ignored the fact that Torres was booed by everyone in the stadium upon his return to Anfield.
It’s like you’re trying to wind me up.
I’ve now watched the controversial handball incident.
Under the new (interpretation of the?) rules a handball by an offensive player, whether intentional or not, results in a goal being disallowed. Remember the Manchester City - Spurs game in August when Gabriel Jesus had a last gasp winner ruled out because the initial corner brushed Laporte’s arm?
Anyway, I think Alexander-Arnold definitely committed a handball offence but the ball had first struck a City player’s hand and was diverted towards TAA. While TAA had time to move his hand out of the way, I think this new rule should apply and you couldn’t have a goal scored from a penalty when it hit an attacking player’s hand in the build up before the TAA handball. So I agree a penalty shouldn’t have been awarded.
But this kind of started the move from which Fabinho scored so I’d have ruled that goal out too because there was a handball by TAA in the build up, albeit in his own box.
I would have restarted play with a drop ball in the centre circle.
Thank you.
Suarez gets treated like a returning hero for forcing a move to a bigger club yet Sterling gets viciously abused. Now why the different attitudes to these two players? Oh yeah, one of them is black!
Raheem Sterling was treated poorly by Liverpool FC before he left.
He wanted a new contract that would put him on a par wages wise with Glen fucking Johnson.
Then the club leaked the story and everyone turned on him. You saw the results of that leak remain yesterday.
For the record, I really like Raheem Sterling as a player. He has always given his best in every match he plays and has transformed early promise into being one of the world’s top players. What’s there not to admire?
Again, ignoring the Torres point …
They exited on completely different terms - if you’re that interested in it i suggest you go and read about it and do some research… One of them has a cunt of an agent and instigated a lot of nasty press about the club if I recall correctly?
I’d agree with all of that, farmer. Good to see a Liverpool supporter come out and condemn the racism. I commend you, pal.
Suarez gets done for racism, gets free pass from the Scousers and the club and they print t-shirts for him. Forces his way out of the club to move to a bigger club, lauded like a returning hero when he comes back to Anfield. Black player has the temerity to want to be paid adequately for his services, hounded and viscously attacked on his return.
But hey, Liverpool won a game of football so that’s all the matters.
He was led astray by his agent — who was using the press himself at the time — the club stupidly leaked stuff in a too and fro with the agent and it only made it worse … shur didnt the player and agent come out after it laughing saying it was all staged to get their big money move to City and that he was never going to sign a new contract with Liverpool
Suarez was booed last year on his return. Coutinho was booed … ex players all around the country get booed … are you new to watching football or something kid?
You continue to ignore the torres point
Up yer bollix.
Blindly defending Liverpool even though they are in the wrong. Are you 12?
An ex player was booed and you’re calling it racism - are you retarded?
Micahel Owen had the same sung about him by New castle fans - was that racism at play?
Scott Parker had it sung about him by Charlton fans - racism?
Jimmy Floyd by Leeds fans …
and countless others … the booing in itself is fucking ridiculous - but do me a favour and go boil your head you clown of a man
