Good strong refereeing there from him - I’ve always liked him as a ref
He’s officiated in the most pressurised situations including in the knockout stages of the Champions League

A lady told me yesterday that I have very kind eyes.
I am watching this game through those kind eyes and I’m seeing Michael Oliver, a guy with a trash can for a heart deciding this game with shameful decisions. I have switched over to watch my beloved Roma because my kind eyes have seen enough.

It was an excellent advantage even though I do think Silva deliberately handled the ball and would have given a free kick to Liverpool had I been officiating
