Managerial Merrygoround Thread

He ended the Anfield curse and got a tune out of DCL. They fell away badly in the last 10 games though.

Everyone was rocking up to Anfield and getting a win for two months there. Even Mike Bassett England manager would have got a result there

3 of the last 4 managers to finish 10th in the EPL have managed Real Madrid. The other is Sean Dyche.

Conte would be a brilliant appointment for Spurs.

Why?

I think so too. He’d decimate them when he realises none of their players are up to much

He’s brilliant. Had Italy purring at Euro 2016. They were very unlucky to go out.

Then won a League comfortably enough with a far from vintage Chelsea side.

not having any European football that season was a huge advantage.

Lucks got nothing to do with it

@ChairmanDan definitely won’t be happy at this news.

Kane out big rom in you’d think.

I’d say Troy the boy wont last a week with him.

United will be in line for a few quid thanks to the sell on clause.

I think Conte would be an excellent appointment for Spurs. If anyone can beat that ingrained loser mentality out of them it’s him

Depay as well maybe if he signs for Barcelona.

I think Conte is a very good manager but I don’t think he’s a natural fit for Spurs in the same way Mourinho wasn’t. But Conte is better than Mourinho and Spurs can hardly be turning down somebody of his calibre.

An anomaly about Conte is that he has a very poor Champions League record, but that doesn’t matter very much if you’re taking over Spurs.
