Managerial Merrygoround Thread

Keane gave it loads about players not wanting to join Sunderland because their wives didn’t want to move to the North East.

While at the same time he lived in Manchester with his wife and family.

Sums him up really.

For a short time, they were a substitute for the Dublin Dons dream that Paddy never got to experience.

We had 30 lads from the gaa club that went over for a game that Quinny sorted. We stayed and socialised in Newcastle though. Cracking nights out

The phenomenon represented a new brash confident Ireland

The old ochoning and victimhood following Glasgow Celtic became a thing of the past

Sunderland is a much bigger shithole than Glasgow

Tuppence ha”penny looking down …

Brucey to West Brom.

Delighted for the big man, one of the good guys in football.

Is he the first man to ever manage all three of the Birmingham teams?

Thought he said he was retiring from the game after the Newcastle experience?

Glasgow is a lovely city.

All 3 Birmingham teams
Newcastle and Sunderland
Sheffield United and Sheffield Wednesday

And he still seems surprised at the way fans treat him

Naw

Hull and Wigan too

Apples and oranges …he would have had 5 kids to uproot … doubt many footballers would have that consideration…

West Bromwich isn’t Birmingham, Wolverhampton wanderer’s would be classed as same then.
Birmingham and Villa are the only teams in Birmingham. Rest of them are the Black Country, Walsall another one
