Managerial Merrygoround Thread

A sign language course with the Sunderland fans in the away section @ the Hawthorns.

I know he is a shite manager and all but I did Nazi that coming so early in the season.

Short is gas. Allows Di Canio to bring in 13/14 players over the summer and then sacks him when the team doesn’t gel straight away.

Who will get the gig now?

Decisive action from the Sunderland board sacking an under performing manager who’s only been in the job a few months. Wonder could a West Bromwich Albion win next Saturday herald the second managerial casualty of the season?

Actually wouldn’t be a bad appointment. DiCanio was at a “The Gaffer” level of ineptitude and self-delusion.

Di Matteo has it already going by most reports

I think he was a stupid appointment and I’d say most Sunderland fans are glad to be rid of him but it was completely unreasonable to buy 14 players this season (by the Director of Football, not Di Canio) and then to give him a half dozen games to prove he could work with them.

Looks as though Gus Poyet will be the new Sunderland manager. Wouldn’t be surprised if he doesn’t last til the end of the season either

Crazy appointment. What has he ever done?

Ellis Short is a strange man. I wonder does he like these type of appointments as they are mad keen to take the job and are possibly willing to accept a clause in their contract that makes it easy to sack them without compensation.

I was chatting to a lad in work there about Poyet and he mentioned that his sacking by Brighton was linked to someone taking a shit on the floor of the Crystal Palace dressing room after the play off semi final in May. Can anyone add anything more to this?

That girl that @tazthedub works with perhaps?

This was all over the papers at the time, pal. Check google. Poyet spoke publicly about his disgust and various papers published an email he sent all employees where he wanted the culprit found.

Mancini is set to take over at Galatasary

Ian Holloway gone.

Let the pointless speculation begin.
