Managerial Merrygoround Thread

Luciano Spalletti, a managerial genius, is currently unemployed.

Meanwhile, David Moyes and Tim Sherwood are the managers of Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur respectively.

He would be perfect for Spurs. Used to dealing with wasters in Roma.

The Italian press are reporting that Seedorf could be sent packing before the end of the season. They have trips away to Lazio and Fiorentina in the next ten days and I think failure to win one of those games will see him jettisoned. I think they have been even worse under him than they were under Allegri. He makes some bizarre decisions like Emanuelson being the first name on the teamsheet, dropping Montolivo for Essien as well as sticking with an out of sorts and uninterested Balotelli.

I also think he has acted with a terrible lack of class by continually blaming Allegri for the situation.

Some unconfirmed reports from Spain that Tata Martino is going to leave Barcelona at the end of the season.

 yet you’ll blame the Man Utd players (better team and squad) for Moyes deficiencies

To be replaced by Brendan Rodgers :o

I’ve criticised Moyes for weak management and letting the plays walk all over him, but I’m highlighting the role of the players in their demise. I’ve also been absolutely scathing of Balotelli this season.

Brendan has a new deal more or less signed. It will be announced seasons end.

That should do it then, I mean no one would ever leave a Club weeks or months after signing a new deal.

They’d want to move quickly to snap up Spalletti before some midtable EPL side takes him.

Exactly. And especially from a club on the rise to a club in decline.

I heard a rumour that Barcelona are ‘keeping and eye’ on BRod.

Most probably utter bullshit.

That’s exactly what he did when he left Swansea for Liverpool.

Chris Hughton sacked.

They are saying that they want to give themselves the best chance of staying up.

Replacing him with the youth team manager.

Strange.

I hear viagra is quite effective for that.

Youth team manager to stay in charge for the rest of the season or just until they get a permanent manager in?

Seems harsh on hughton, Norwich were always going to be in relegation danger…
