Great response to the Villa goal.

I’m very encouraged by that.

Happy to be wrong about cunha. He’s infuriating but he can bloody play.

Second half was much better. Still too easy to play against but they gradually got going and the through balls from Bruno were sublime. That cunha goal was a thing of beauty.

Like Cunha. Took a while to warm-up but he’s performing now.

2 years today since Amad got that goal in extra time. So 2 years tomorrow since I missed that flight home.

Time flies :joy:

He’s in a league of his own at the moment.

I said before if Arsenal didn’t win the league he’d be in the running for POTY but since then he’s been the main man in United’s rise up the table.

Getting the assist record could seal the deal in him getting the POTY especially having played out of his preferred position between August and January.

There’s been 33 POTY winners. 17 were league winners that season. 4 of the last 5 won the league that season.

It can be done but recent history goes against him…

Talk of the devils podcast dropped a st Patrick’s day special covering the pilgrimage all the Irish fans make to Manchester United games every season and the history of Irish players who played for the club.

Another academy role filled by an ex Man City employee.

The city owners must be horrific to work for.

There’s a book on it well worth a read.

Sancho just laid on the most beautiful assist for Johnny McGinn and the comms just pretended it never happened. Funny when the tide of public opinion turns on a player, if they aren’t absolutely knocking it out of the park; nothing they contribute is acknowledged.

Similarly today, I see Rooney said he doesn’t regard Neymar as a great player; I love Wayne Rooney but that is an awful take. Rooney 04’ was amazing but he had a lot of the same travails as Neymar and arguably didn’t fulfill his potential either…but he’s still a great player.

Sancho should be retained by Villa to me, or he woud be a solid acquisition at Spurs as he would raise the technical floor of a team that struggles to retain the ball.

@Copper_pipe and @Wexford1996 deserve their own chapter in that book for the way they are sorting out travelling fans from the emerald isle

No place in this Hammer Thrower version of the EPL for a technical player like Sancho. Should go back to Dortmund

That was a stressful couple of days for you :joy:

TFK will be well represented in the Stretford End for the Brentford game…

Ive just booked our return flights… holy fuck a monday night game is a cunt for a trip over. Returning tuesday evening from leeds bradford… :person_facepalming: at least we can make a day of the tuesday. I havent decided when we’ll go over. Looking at early monday or sunday afternoon…

No-brainer. You just need to shrug off the gnawing anxiety, dark forebodings and grim predictions. Two nights, three nights, one night…youll end up in the same doghouse regardless. May as well get your money’s worth.
