Manchester United FC 2013/14

Look on it as a point gained. If the rules of the game were being applied to Man U as well, Wayne Rooney would have been sent off in the first few minutes and it surely would have been a victory for the home side.

Bill Foulkes passes away[/SIZE]
Manchester United is very sad to report that legendary centre-backBill Foulkes has passed away, aged 81.

Foulkes joined the club in 1950 and made his United debut two years later against Liverpool. The St Helens-born centre-half, a Munich air disaster survivor, went on to make 688 appearances for the Reds during 18 seasons at Old Trafford. Only three men have bettered that total - Ryan Giggs, Sir Bobby Charlton and Paul Scholes.

Renowned as a rock-solid pillar of some of United’s most successful teams under Sir Matt Busby, Foulkes was a four-time league champion, FA Cup winner and European Cup winner, and very few players in the club’s history have served United with such distinction.

Executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward expressed his and the club’s sadness at the news, saying: "Bill was a giant character in the post-war history of Manchester United. He was a very gentle man, who I was privileged to meet on several occasions, including most memorably with his team-mates at the Champions League final in Moscow, 50 years after his heroics in the Munich air crash.

“Bill’s contribution over almost 700 games and nearly 20 years will never be forgotten. The thoughts of everyone at the Club – directors, players, staff and fans – are with Bill’s family.”

Rip Bill. The old lad said Bill was the first centre half who really made an impression on him when he started watching football. A true legend.

So your auld lad is a cunt also?

I see Rooney was venting on Twitter about Martin Tyler and Graeme “Sourness”. That’s a good one actually. Sourness.

One of Fergie’s super signings, Bebe, in action below

I was subject to Off The Ball for a spell last night on the way to playing an association football match. Listeners were texting questions to John Giles and someone asked him about Bill Foulkes. I’m sure it was expected that he’d pay the recently deceased a nice tribute but Giles said he was a right cunt and very unpopular with the other players. It was fairly amusing in an unintentional way actually.

That was gas. “Popular Bill” they used to call him. Sounded like a right prick.

That was weird… He took all the hangers when rooming with guys, shouldered guys walking down the corridor and seemed to hate the rest of the team- a great testament to old Bill from John.

Giles is a bitter oul cunt.

And…?

In for a long season.

It’s a strange one - Fergie left a title winning squad but at the same time left a huge amount of dross, particularly in midfield. Probably testament to his managerial genius that he won the league so convincingly.

Major clear-out needed. Feel a bit sorry for Moyes, Fergie’s successor was always on to a loser. Anderson, Young, Welbeck etc - it’ll be hard to get rid of them with the wages they are on too. One major negative against Moyes is the signing of Fellaini - a panic buy for a £27m Carlton Palmer.

The real damage was done in the summer with the embarrassing transfer activity, paying dearly for it now. Anyway been spoilt over the last decades, twenty league titles was only a pipe dream in 1990.

Never heard of you but go fuck yourself and die

Some People have jobs. I have a job that requires me to work evenings. You have fuckwits above that think oh you not on cause im crying into my United pillow case but alas the truth is much more simple. I am busy working on a very big Premiership evening in a fairly big betting company. I barely have time to take a fucking piss never mind come on here and piss my panties because United have won or lost a match. Grow up Lads.

I have just finished watching Motd. Thought a draw would have been a fair result looking at the chances both teams had. Moyes needs the support of the fans on Saturday now. I recall a dodgy period in 2001/2002 when United had lost I think 5 times in the league by around this time and went on a run of 9 straight wins so you never know. Hopefully Rvp can be called upon against Newcastle.

Shan has cleaned house big style here.
