Think it was the Dippers that won at Old Trafford on Boxing Day 1978 if memory serves me correct.

I was still probably traumatised by what happened in the previous round of games a few days before Christmas 1978. Woolwich won 0-5 at White Hart Lane. Liam Brady got a goal in that one which was the first goal on the BBC 101 great goals video.

A bad few days for the home sides in the local derbies either side of Christmas 1978.

Didnt QPR score a famous against all odds victory at Old Trafford around New years day years back? Black fella scored 3 if im right.

I remember (half) watching it in the pub.
