I thought it was cool he was keeping up with his pal who had fallen on relative hard times in a way.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Greenwood and Rashford were at Barca next year.
I’d be absolutely shocked if any serious club signed rashford.
In fact the one club who would buy rashford is actually man United.

He had a brilliant campaign last year. He’s a good player but just in the wrong environment. He’d have thrived under Klopp at Liverpool if there’d been any truth to those rumours circulating a few years ago. Ange would get a tune out of him at Spurs. He’d be a big upgrade on Richarlison or Brennan Johnson.
If players thrived under klopp he’d have won a lot more trophies.
I like Ange but he’s hardly doing anything special at spurs. No trophy again this season.
By your logic Juande Ramos did a better job at Spurs than Pochettino. Ange is flying for his first season in charge with a patched up squad.
Rashford could have been a goalscoring winger in the mould of Salah, Mane or Jota. Has all the attributes bar the right manager.
He isn’t doing a whole pile. He is a nice man but that’s it.
Rashford pretty much outperformed all of Liverpools forwards last season but you somehow think klopp will improve him.
Klopp has signed a few players from big clubs like Thiago and gravenberch and they’ve been disasters.
Rashford from the mid table Red Devils - Coach Klopp would have got a tune from him and made him a proper player like Salah and Mane and Big Darwin lad. C
