Don’t let your mouth cash the cheques you can’t write. That’s all I’ll say on that one.
How so?
There is hope.
Going by twitter the same people @BruidheanChaorthainn is worried won’t be able to afford their season ticket are actively demanding their club be used as a sports washing front.
There won’t be an inital outcry, they’ll be celebrating on the streets of Manchester/London/Dublin
I’d presume ticket prices will drop.
I think you are all wrong here.
Most people will just get bored off it.
Soccer has been finished for a long time, I’ve very little interest in it. I’d watch the big games and the interanationals, but that’s it
Really? Id say you’re being very naive if you believe that. Ten haag is good. If he gets qatat backing the success will come and the place will be packed week in week out.
Got massively back into it during lock down.
Man United could fill old Trafford two times over when they are going well
United generate enough money to be self sustainable, without any huge cash injection.
The Glazers have basically let the club rot, barely a penny put into the club, stadium or training ground. They basically put an incompetent prick in Woodward - an investment banker - in charge of all football matters. What you got then was crazy transfer fees and/or wages dished out to Pogba, De Gea, Di Maria, Sanchez, Martial and co. Long term contract extensions to the likes of Rojo and Jones. A basket case of a club.
They did all this while basically buying the club using a Ponsi scheme, resulting in crippling debt.
Seem to be turning things around now slowly, Ten Hag seems a good judge of players.
The money in football is obscene now. Bar peak Messi or Ronaldo none of them are worth the money.
How can you abide horse racing if you’re such a man of principle?
It’s bizarre that @BruidheanChaorthainn is shipping criticism for not wanting his EPL club of choice to turn into a sportswashing vehicle. He’s absolutely spot on with his stance in this instance.
Hard to believe these new owners could be as savvy or generous as the Glazers who sold billions of pounds worth of pyjamas and gave those funds to a series of highly respected managers.
Is there a Hoganstand or Boards equivalent that you could take your boring teenage crap to?
Something like that would be more your level.
General sale at 12
They could sell 200k for this.
