We might just have the Mongolia Footix of the Year winner.
A new pb apparently. 4 hours 28 or so
Sir Jim is at least five years older than bandage though
Did that down in Ennis at an U21 v Tipp. 3 down well into injury time and we started walking around towards exit. Got a few ‘safe home lads’ from a few tippos.
Walking backwards as Galway attacked and managed to see the goal to level it. Walked back past the tippos ‘how ye lads?’ we said. Won in extra time. Seen the same boyos so quickened the step to catch up. ‘Safe home lads’.
You don’t come out of that story well mike just fyi.
In fairness some of those lads had to cycle back to Mongolia.
- Fair weathered supporters to leave before the final whistle was blown alright.
I remember the 2004 final down in Nowlan Park. We got absolutely hammered that day (Tipp scored something miserable like 1-6). I was shocked when the auld lad turned to me with a few minutes left indicating maybe we should leave. That was very out of character for him. We didn’t.
My auld lad was the opposite; while he wouldn’t be gracious in defeat or anything, we’d be waiting around for 20 minutes after the final whistle “until it was safe to go”. You’d leave yourself open for fierce ridicule after a defeat
Remarkable but after 31 seasons sir Alex Ferguson is still the only premier league manager to win two champions leagues with a premier league team.
Most of them had to get back to London

I was amazed that the Cork crowd started to head for the exits after 67 minutes yesterday including one particularly mouthy fucker. Anecdotally I understand that the traffic was very bad coming from the Cork side but ffs it was Waterford they were playing. Anything could have happened.

I wont lie, I was very very tempted to skulk out of OMP last Saturday evening when the ooooooooovvvvaaaaaallllllllyaaaaaaaaaaaa chant started going up after the second goal. But stay we did.
I like to think we got our rewards yesterday 4 minutes into injury time.
Tommy tuchel being linked.
I’d absolutely love that.
He can setup a defence. His transfer input would be limited if he did get it I’d say.
He’s also liable to implode. Has done it at every club. Fallen out with everyone.
