We’re long sorted thanks to yourself!

Home to Arsenal on 11 May in the title decider

Away at Anfield on 16/12/23 to absolutely ruin Christmas. An annual occurrence almost.

Gordon McQueen RIP.

Only 70, no age. Think he was diagnosed with dementia only a couple of years ago.

Won a title with Leeds and an FA Cup with United when it meant something. Went to a World Cup with Scotland too but didn’t play.
A likeable kinda player. The names of that United team still resonate. Buchan, Coppell, Hill, Jordan, Macari and two Greenhoffs.

Rio Ferdinand: “The #mufc takeover is imminent. We’re hearing the Qatari bid is the one that’s taking over, the one that’s being accepted. Hallelujah man, please let it happen!”

Some smashing replies to that tweet.

Glazers are getting their bidding war.

The Brexiteer ‘Sir Jim’ lads will be delighted. Big boost for them after Sir Tom and The Queen.

This is true. Apart from the seats under the section(s) of the roof that leak when it rains.

War sir Jim

The ball is in Radcliffe’s court now to level up to Qatar.

Wonder if he kept something in reserve.

Glazer cunts spent something like £200m of their own money to buy the club. Borrowed on the club to compkete the purchase and funded annual purchases and minimal capital investment over the year by driving the club into further debt, the the tune of around £1bn, and a £1bn infrastructure is also required. And they’re going to walk away with around £6bn.

They might walk away with nothing yet. I’d say all parties are getting tired of their antics at this stage.
In recent days both main bids are coming out and saying they are confident of winning now. Yet on and on it goes.

Capitalism. Brilliant

All thanks to Banquo.

They’ve spent absolute fortunes on players. The issue has been talent ID (picking lads not good enough) or misusing lads that were.

United have had very strong managers in recent years and they have not made a good job of it.

Even ETH, Martinez is the best footballing centreback in the world, a snip at £60 million…but he has also spent £80 million on a onefooted winger with no pace and insisted on picking Wout Weighorst.

The selection of certain players by management has been an issue going back to 09’ when Ferguson thought it was okay to replace Ronaldo with Valencia and Owen. City brought Kompany, Toure, Silva and Aguero, the rest is history.

Its been poor management, not the owners.

The owners made a fuck of the transfers, more often than not, by insisting on having the final call on investments and not keaving it to football people.

They allowed Woodward to extend contracts and increase wages. The money that they did invest was by use of an ongoing credit facility, mot their own money. To date the Glazers only spents 270m on the initial takeover, borrow another 600m or so on the club.

They missed deals like OGS recommending Haaland and Caicedo for peanuts.

An absolute shambles and the owners are to blame.
