Matters regarding Limerick, Limerick Pubs, No Culture allowed

It’s believed he was carrying a weapon or led the children to believe he was carrying a weapon.

There is nothing to say they were robbed at gunpoint

Where is this place?

the ennis road, always done decent grub

Have you ever been to the Gaelic Grounds for a championship game?

Yes i have thank you.

Ah i know it now. It was the guesthouse bit threw me.

The crowd who own/run Nancy Blake’s, Tom Collins, The Washer Woman etc now run the Wood field. The manager was telling me they will be opening a steak house in there in the not too distant future

“gun point” ?

Do you know something about this case that’s not available to the general public?

Three kids get robbed walking to school, losing their mobile phones and money and you’re worried about the technical detail of the crime? Usual limerick reaction of ‘nothing to see here’.

The man said they were robbed at gun point.

That is a very serious accusation to be making about an ongoing criminal investigation.

By the way, one of the reasons that crime rates in Limerick are so low is due to the fact that they are given high profile and the perpetrators are caught.

:joy: Ah stop, you’re killing me

An example of playing down the crime rate would be Cork.

42 homocides in 5 years :anguished:

Dublin of course is the crime capital, but Cork is the murder / homocide capital

" that Dublin has the highest rate of crime in the country followed by Limerick"

You forgot to include this bit. Didn’t you state that the crime rates in Limerick were low?

I am sure that was included in the article I linked to?

Don’t, pal…for your own sanity, leave him off.

The lads in the Topaz at the end of the Dock Rd will wash outside and hoover inside for something like €12, paying €35 to have the inside of your motor smelling like a hoor’s knickers is only a mugs game.

How so?

But they will only hoover the inside as opposed to polishing it and putting a shine on the whole thing?

The best wash is at the filling station opposite the graveyard on mulgrave st

Do you know if they do the works pal? Inside and all? Proper job like?
