That fella was a tool back when he worked in that clothes shop Hobo in the early 2000s.
Yeah making the rosbrien road 3 lane will hamper the local residents just parking on the street i imagine. Its not wode enough for 3 cars but i assume an active travel lane could fit. @Little_Lord_Fauntleroy heres a nice bit of nimby for you
Couldnt happen to a nicer chap
The young lads went to the Oasis Tribute last night in Dolans. They said theyâd have a pint in The Windmill first before heading into Sextons for a pizza.
I introduced the eldest to The Windmill years ago when it was a great pub. They said that the decor is all different now and most of the male foreign clientele present were smoking shishas (water pipes) instead of drinking pints.
They turned on their heelsâŚâŚ
The pubs in that little stretch have really had to repurpose themselves. Sextonâs is a pizzeria and the Corner Flag is a creche.
I walk past it a good bit. I dunno if itâs open or closed half the time. It seems a bit all over the shop
Sextonâs do alright with the pizza but they sell plenty of pints too ![]()
Iâd tip in there a bit and itâs generally decently busy.
The last time I looked in there was a please wait to be seated sign blocking the way just inside the door so I thought the conversion was complete and didnât bother with it.
I thought the Windmill closed a few years ago? I was only ever in there a handful of times. The first pint I ever had in Limerick was in the Corner Flag, which as @Jahan said above, is a creche now. Was in the Old Stand, Larry Murphys and Bakers the same night. Only one of the four establishments still standing, it you will excuse the pun
If you turn right itâs a shisha bar,
Sextons is a nice pub, probably the pub Iâd find myself in most often because weâd often bring the kids for pizza at the weekend and Iâd use it to meet people as well, itâs a good pub,
Feathery Bourke´s was a creche back in the day as well.
What happens if you turn left?
Whoop whoop

Not surprised. Weâre the fittest county in Ireland.
Business class.
Where is this office?
Hanging gardens I think
The fella that owns Shake Dog has bought the McDonaldâs unit in town.
I was only wondering the other day when passing how the Shake Dog at the Coonagh roundabout manages to keep going.
That unit opposite Brown Thomas has been opening soon for a very long time now.
The fella that owns Shake Dog has bought the McDonaldâs unit in town.
Doesnât sound like he is putting a shake dog in there though. Hardly a need for a second one that close anyway.
Unless he is renting the other one
