It deserved the week to breathe. It certainly was going to get to the following Sunday papers and opinion pieces. It’ll certainly ease off now, especially when they get back with the clubs. But social media will no doubt see bits and pieces pop up here and there.
The day Kobe flies out however, that will be a sharp dose of reality
I presume they have just cancelled the mayo club championship. It would seem silly to go ahead with it for the next few weeks
Spent a few days in Breaffy, Westport, Louisburgh and Achill last week. It was conspicuous the amount of staff in restaurants, hotels, shops, etc who were sporting Mayo tops. They are genuinely on cloud nine and will be some time to come. I don’t begrudge them going mad for a few months.
