What is the back story again as to why he has so much animosity towards a county who hadnt won an AI in 75 years, a county who experienced the famine worse than any other county, who had to deal with landlordism worse than any other county, who have had several maritime disasters, huge rural depopulation and emmigration. How could you possibly begrudge them is beyond me. Ive always found them to be the most welcoming hospitable people you could meet anywhere.

I felt Mayo supporters didnt do much to endear themselves to Tipp people at the 2016 AI Football Semi Final but maybe thats what a 75 year famine does to people.
