For Monica Leech the jury’s verdict must be quite a blow. Job done as far as the Independent and their lawyers are concerned though.

She needs to get a good solicitor or a lawyer with a proven track record in winning libel cases if she’s to turn the result on its head in the supreme court.
You’d be very upset if you were so sure of winning a case as Monica Leech definitely was. Giving Martin Cullen headaches no doubt with all this getting brought into the public domain again.
