Ewan didnt need to do an investigation to know their is financial misdemeanors in Cork gaa.
The comments under the tweet would suggest its Mayo related too.
All that Tim O’Leary stuff etc.
A little anecdote but in November 2019, I’m embarrassed to say I attended a Wooly v Joe Brolly Dublin GAA funding debate in the Mansion House in Dublin… Ewan debated Eddie O’Sullivan about Rubby on the undercard. Its all on YouTube. Anyway, Tim O’Leary was a guest of Brolly on that night. I think his wife and Laurita are friends.
That evening may well have been the starting point that created a trail of destruction which has lead us to Ewan burning down the GAA House of Cards.
Wow. How did he unearth that
I do indeed.
There is fellas obsessed with Ewan on this site.
You don’t really hope that
If Irish people can’t quietly rip off other Irish people to sustain an outlandish lifestyle, that’s an awful lot of indigenous Irish business gone straight away. Ewan needs to be reigned in.
Another @peddlerscross TFK exclusive.
A well met pair of deluded cunts
Mayo must rue the day they let that cunt in the door
I cant wait for the two page expose.
Can someone dig out how much Mayo GAA has gotten from Croke Park over that period. May has well have it all there.
While it does look like there was fairly poor mismanagement alright (which everyone knew already), I’m not sure it’s quite the big ‘Gotcha’ moment he was hinting at.
Surely the fact that Tim O’Leary went to a disinformation merchant like Ewan with this rather than a proper print media outlet discredits him altogether?
I hear Chay Bowes rejected him for not being credible enough.
“In Part 3, I interview Tim O’Leary on his views on Covid vaccines, immigration and Vlodimir Zelensky”
Sounds pretty poor to me. There’s more in it than I was expecting.
The interest rate he quotes on loan seems quite low, so maybe this is where gaa are helping
I would have thought (maybe one of the accounting whizzes like @Appendage might confirm) that it was standard that any write down of debt would not be crystallised until certain conditions have been met for e.g. on a 7.5m debt maybe the deal is we will write off the last 2.5m of debt when you have paid the first 5m.
So you would need to continue to carry the full debt on balance sheet as it is owing until the day it isn’t
Now I’m sure the GAA don’t need to be as strict as a vulture fund would be but above seems like one potential reason the write down mightnt be obvious
“a five year driving ban when he drives for a living”
Fuck me. Does the barrister have learning difficulties?
We know Martin Nolan does.
