More GAA Shame

Nothing wrong that. He was the most exciting hurler that that weā€™d all ever seen. He was liked in 31 counties, loved in 8/9. (Wexico excepted)

Thereā€™s definitely something sad when a dispenser of joy turns out to be a horrible cunt. Messi, Dj Carey etc etc

That tapped down goal on the edge of the square.

Ronaldo has tarnished his legacy as well sadly

DJ will have to become FIFA President now.

Today, Gianni Infantino thinks heā€™s DJ Carey (cc: of @Juhniallio).

as iconic a point as we have seen in hurling

In fairness to him heā€™s actually fucked off to the desert to pick up his cash and he never really hid it either. Sure was it 2014 cl final he didnā€™t score and he just sulked after they won it. I donā€™t think he was loved by the neutral either.

DJā€™s goal in that final v Clare was also a bit of magic

Does that story hold water now if whatā€™s come to light holds weight?

Wouldnā€™t be beyond realms of plausibility he was as knee deep in the money going missing in his company as anyone else.

The sulking and the raping

Were the two of them stealing money to cover each other

Probably not. Coincidentally enough, wasnā€™t it like ā‚¬1 million he said she robbed off him ?

She probably ratted him out to get out of doing jail time.

Sad react

The question would never have been asked of him at least until this.

Now if asked, whoā€™s to be believed? Thiefā€™s a thief.

I donā€™t believe in hanging someone based off a forwarded WhatsApp message.

If itā€™s true, itā€™s obviously despicable behaviour but maybe we should hold off until we knew whether itā€™s true?

Ciaran Careyā€™s point and that goal always stand out for me

Something about these words reminds me of this story.

Don Clarkeā€™s larger-than-life proportions worked against after rugby. No taller poppy was so ruthlessly humbled as was Clarke when charged with a trivial shoplifting offence involving a 70c packet of sticking plasters from a North Shore supermarket in 1970.

The magistrate was man enough to play down the affair, no guilt was left with Clarke - but Clarke, who was led sobbing from the court after the charge was dismissed - was so chastened that he looked elsewhere for life with his wife, Patsy.

There were old and close friendly foes in South Africa, and Clarke settled comfortably in business far from the triumphs, and traumas, of his great rugby career.

Agreed.

Like the money was ā€˜dead moneyā€™ to those who have allegedly lost it anyway. It wasnt like an investment scheme.

The only question is where did it go. Iā€™d give him the benefit of the doubt that thereā€™s a good explanation for now.
