OK, she would most of the time obviously but sheās not always there to do it.
Iām baffled as to why you would think itās odd for a man to brush his daughters hair.
Iām sure heāll say that as well but I felt It was clearly implied, I wasnāt talking about up styles or anything. Just running a tangle teazer through the hair.
Itās not what I said, but I would certainly find it odd and a bit weird, frankly, for a man to be brushing his daughters hair on a regular basis. Fine doing it if you have to if say the wife was away or sick or something. But otherwise it strikes me as odd behaviour
Yeah Iām all for role reversal and all of that but from my limited experience hairbrushing is one of those special occasions when mothers and daughters bond and a father butting in on this to make some kind of right on point seems to be going too far.
Ah lads. Youāre surely on the wind up ?
Sure most families have both parents working now and kids stuff is shared, Iām glad that my wife was busy around the time that our middle one was born. She went straight back to work & study after that birth, I had no other choice but to be involved in all the daily stuff with kids. Itās the best thing that ever happened as after the first I kind of said sure youāre off work you mind the child.
Most lads will stand back if allowed Iād say?
I didnāt have a choice to to look after a newborn and 20month 5 evenings a week after work. Iām very, very close to them as a result of that.
