Morality is defined by a societal group, and varies widely between groups (there are very few posters here who would last long on boards for example). On TFK, there are no boundaries on mocking fellow posters. If there were, the sad depraved scumbag would have been admonished for accusing multiple posters of pedophilia and establishing sex rings. This occurred well before he was mocked for being a carer (Iâm not aware of anyone mocking a parent, imaginary or not, that he may or may not care for).
In broader society, mocking public figures, regardless of what forum it is done on, has different morality rules. Iâve already suggested how you can test this, forward the âsatireâ piece on to the major publications in Ireland and see the reaction. Send them on a few of the mocking of fellow posters that goes on here as well that you are offended by. I think youâll find that the general public care less what anonymous posters say to each other, and why would they.
