More Things That Are Wrong, just plain wrong

I don’t know that mate

The wife’s family alluded to something fairly serious that was ‘going to bring him down’ before the inquest and then when it came out about watching a bit of porn I was a bit baffled so it wouldn’t surprise me if there was something more serious that isn’t in the domain

I find it odd that someone would make up this rumor. I find it even odder that some Cork fella on the internet would be sticking up for an evil bastard who murdered his entire family.

Nothing odd about somebody using that murder as a means to score a point on the INTERNET

Fuck off you fucking weirdo.

A guy who used to live beside me, a couple of years younger than myself, died last night, leaves a couple of young children behind. Very hard to get your head around something like that.

Christ above. We’ll end up bailing the cunts out then when their houses flood.

Let them drown.

The crusties in Galway giving out they’ve no wall and the crusties in Dublin giving out the wall is too high. What a country.

Abortions for some, miniature American flags for others

This is priceless stuff. They want a view of an apparent area of natural beauty

“The main reason is that the wall is situated in a buffer zone of two areas of natural beauty, the Bull Island biosphere and St Anne’s Park,” he said.

However, they don’t care enough about the area of natural beauty if there’s heavy rain

He said any flood water from excess rain would not reach any houses in the area and would instead go to the park.
“Any excess water will fall into St Anne’s Park,” he said. “There is no housing in this area.”

What a fucking country indeed.

They built portholes for Bono, so he could gaze
Out across the bay and sing about mountains maybe
You are what you own in this land
You can be King and it all depends on the view and what you can see
And around here nobody tells me what to do anymore

You won’t. There are no houses where these works are to take place. The wall that was erected was higher than they had permission for and it does obscure of one the most beautiful vistas in the country. Dublin City Council overplayed their hand here and are now backtracking.

Excellent factual response to scare mongering.

The park should not be looking out onto a concrete slab. As you say this was all agreed some time ago but they built a higher wall anyway to protect no houses. From my contacts in the Guinness family I don’t think they’re planning on rebuilding their house anytime soon.
