Most overrated player in the SPL

In the interests of balance who is the most overrated player in the SPL?

I’m going for Carlos Cuellar. Strangely hyped when he first arrived for looking comfortable against Gretna. Against any team that plays decent football he looks out of his depth.

It has to be Boyd for me. The lad has an incredible scoring record for the huns - think it’s 51 goals in 58 games or something and yet he still doesn’t get picked for any of their crucial games, especially the away ones. I’d nearly do a check but at least 40 goals must be against the likes of St Mirren and Falkirk and other bottom 3 or 4 sides. In many respects the 4-5-1 system they play home and away counts against him because ‘Boydy’s the best poacher in the business but he struggles to lead the line on his own.’ When he is asked to play up front on his own he’s completely clueless - he has no touch, can’t control the ball, hold it up, pass it or win it in the air. That’s why you’ll see other useless clowns like Darcheville or Cousin start ahead of him in European ties or derby matches. He’ll then be thrown in for a home game against Gretna or something and he’ll shin in a couple of goals from inside the 6 yard box and the huns will be raving about what a supreme finisher he is. He’s not. He’s fooking awful.

“People always say it’s a shame someone as talented as Ryan Giggs or George Best before him never played in a World Cup or European Championship and I don’t want my name to be added to that list” - Barry Ferguson, today. What an idiot!!!

Who the fook does Ferguson think he is?

A complete flop of a player.

Ha ha that’s a hilarious quote from Ferguson. Deluded fool.

Good to see the anti-Celtic brigade have organised themselves into a vote for Nakamura collective - the one player at Celtic who is certainly not overrated.

I was actually thinking of getting the “anti-Celtic” brigade together for this. Its all about relativity. Naka is a good player, no doubt, but he is overrated.
