I had hopes that it would eventually click for SImunovic, heās not that old and has been ravaged with injuries.
Heās just pretty ordinary though, not awful but he simply doesnāt convince, always looks like he has an error in him. We put a significant outlay in him at the time but it hasnāt worked out. I would still give him an extension but if we got a decent offer for him Iād have no issue in moving him on.
Thought young Welsh did well on Sunday and wouldnāt have been averse to him starting tonight.

Taylor did well there, brave defending.
He seems to be strong at nuts and bolts defending but lacking a little bit going forward. Could be a premature assessment though.
I do like his energy, his end product has been poor for the most part but was it the St Johnstone game where he delivered a number of brilliant crosses?
Yeah, set up the goal for Griffiths that night and was probably Celticās best player. Has otherwise been a bit indecisive in the final third.

Agreed on Simunovic. No point in losing him for nothing so we should extend his contract but if we got money back on him we should take it. Otherwise heās fine as a squad player. Ajerās form is probably more concerning of late.
