Re: keanes latest rant
No much information there Raven. :smoke:
Re: keanes latest rant
Oh that rant. This was discussed already wasnt it? Bit crazy allright. Listen out for the Keane meets Keane interview on Today Fm tomorrow. Little teaser this morning, sounds like it’ll be good.
Re: keanes latest rant
more an anti-fingal bias. you yourself should feel hard done by.
Re: keanes latest rant
I disagree with Keane regarding Miller not being picked, that anti-Cork shite is a load of rubbish, seems like a grudge he’s carried since his underage days with Ireland when he frequently missed out on squads. I think he’s spot on in lashing the senior players, who, bar Given, have been utter shite tho. Many tfk’ers heading on saturday?
Re: keanes latest rant
Yeah, I’m heading along alright. Really looking forward to it despite the shambles we’ve become. Think my tickets are for behind the goal at the Canal End.
Re: keanes latest rant
It’s just a pity the team is such a shambles for these games, still looking forward to it but it’s unlikely to be a patch on the rugby. Upper Hogan myself, quite pleased with my allocation.
Re: keanes latest rant
Sarcasm, love it :-*.
Whats the problem with going to an Ireland game?
Re: keanes latest rant
Are you:
i) dressing up as a leprchaun? NO
ii) blowing up an inflatable shamrock? NO
iii) singing ole ole? NO
iv) singing youll never beat the irish? DEPENDS ON THE RESULT
Re: keanes latest rant
Can’t quote your post fingal as i’m on my phone but what exactly is wrong with supporting one’s country?
To answer your questions: i’m not dressing up as a leprachaun, goin as elvis this time. I’m bringing my inflatible banana. i will probably sing ole ole and stand up for the boys in green if things are going well.
Re: keanes latest rant
Was beginning to think i’d never agree with you on anything raven but i’ve found something-scots in kilts. Was in paris over the weekend and the amount of pricks in kilts was sickening. They were even wearing them on sunday and monday. Cocks.
Re: keanes latest rant
Keane was being interviewed on Today Fm this morning. He made some very good points about the attitude of the irish team. I disagree with him on anti-Cork bias but no doubt in my mind that if he was in Ireland team (as a player or manager) now we would not be in our current predicement. It simply wouldn’t be allowed.
Re: keanes latest rant
I thought farmer was taking the piss when he said you were on your phone!
Good commitment.
Re: keanes latest rant
i think he would yes. glad you think so highly of Keane to compare him to lippi. i knew your views on Keane had softened but to compare him to Lippi is too much for an inexperienced manager.
Re: keanes latest rant
first of all we were promised a world class manager. stan the man == world class???
of course keano will be ireland manager. Its his ambition to manage his country one day. He wouldnt say it id it wasnt.
Re: keanes latest rant
but keane took sunderland over when they were in relegation zone and had a terrible squad so comparison with big mick is invalid. i think he will manage ireland and i certainly hope he does.
Re: keanes latest rant
I think you mean, he got bohs best player.
Re: keanes latest rant
I like Keane and always did but:
His latest rant was a load of shite.
He hasnt really outperformed McCarthy at Wolves. McCarthy lost Naylor to Celtic and Lescott to Everton within a couple of weeks of taking over - neither of whom he could do anything about. He has had nowhere near the same money as Keane but he has built a team that are capable of getting promoted.
Re: keanes latest rant
Re: keanes latest rant
He thinks the Sunderland job is more important than the Irish job. If that’s the case than why bother commenting on the Irish situation at all?
