Using this board as a place to share videos, music and images. It’s easier kept away from the main stuff so people in work don’t have to avoid clicking on YouTube links etc and possibly incurring the wrath of their IT department.
Also considering restricting access to members only so we can share music and video files with other members - once we have verified by PM that those other members have paid for the copyright to those files in the first place of course.
Definitely - I presume that the primary aim is to get new members so make them sign up and hopefully contribute something
From talking to people in my place of work - many are aware of the website and have visited but few have actually signed up
Badly need to think of ways of properly publicising the site.
I think after a couple of days we should restrict this board to members only so at least people sign up even if they don’t want to post.
Do people actually look at it? Because they all share the same ip address all visits from that place of employment only register as one ‘guest’ hit afaik.
Agree on restricting access but obviously the bhoy is likely to have strong opinions that we’ll need to consider.
